Philosophy
Business as a complex organism
We view a business as a complex, adaptive organism. The marketplace is its environment, cash flows are its lifeblood, and competitive advantage is the edge that allows it to outperform. Like any organism, a business must build resilience to external stressors — macroeconomic shifts, competitive pressure, technological disruption — to not just survive, but thrive.
At Bangkok Partners, this is our focus: identifying the levers that maximize performance. We break a company down to its drivers — analyzing cash flows, earnings quality, growth opportunities, M&A potential, capital structure, and the factors that drive value. That analytical lens shapes every engagement we take on, from valuation and transactions to CFO leadership and corporate finance advisory.
“We bring an entrepreneurial mindset and a sharp, disciplined approach to everything we do. We say what matters, act with intention, and focus on what moves the needle. Our clients value us for the impact we make.”
Vasant Jain, CFA
Founder
Vasant began his career in investment banking before joining Lyra Growth Partners, a growth equity fund in Vancouver, where he worked inside portfolio companies on strategy, business modeling, operations, and finance. That operator-grounded experience became the foundation for Alphabridge, the corporate finance and strategy practice he founded in Vancouver — and for Bangkok Partners, which extends that practice to Thailand, where growing companies are underserved by global firms and underchallenged by local generalists.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors in Finance from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia and is a CFA Charterholder. He mentors founders, judges pitch competitions globally, and has taught corporate finance, accounting, business analytics, and economics at the college level. Native Thai speaker, fluent in English.
